Construction updates

The first phase of construction works are due to commence in February 2026. These works include the construction of a new reinforced concrete basement box in the plaza area, as well as landscaping. This work will transform the plaza into a level area with new green planters. This phase of works, known as Phase 1, is due to commence in February 2026 with structural work taking place until June, and landscaping works from July onwards.

We will be taking various steps to minimise the impact to neighbours:

• Working hours in line with City of London guidance: 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday, and 8am – 1pm on Saturdays if required.
• Unloading materials within the site area behind the hoardings.
• Ensuring public areas are kept clear and maintaining access for residents.
• Keeping deliveries to a minimum and using smaller vehicles whenever possible.
• Entrances will have a designated Traffic Marshal to supervise them, and ensure the areas are kept clean, safe, and secure.
• Our dedicated on-site team will be available during site hours and 24 hours in the event of a site emergency.

To help you easily identify our on-site team, they will be wearing John F Hunt branded hi viz clothing. For safety, hard hats will be worn at all times, with managers and supervisors identifiable by their black hard hats.
